Hypixel is a great place to bond online (albeit there are toxic communities), and for me, I just don't see the point of blocking these people from playing the server again. The following commands can be used to unban a player from your server. Not to mention that a lot of people cannot afford or simply don't have the means to access/create/buy another Minecraft account, so they're literally stuck outside of the biggest server ever. However, this damages the honesty of the server and the integrity of a majority of these players. Five years is a LOT of time to be banned for, and I believe that if someone wanted to hack five years ago, they have probably matured enough to realize not to hack anymore.įurthermore, a lot of the people that have been banned for several years on Hypixel probably ban evade either way. I think that this is a good idea because a lot of the people that have been banned for that long are still playing Minecraft to this day, and due to the popularity of Hypixel they would really like to play on it. We are doing away with the 1st, 2nd, 3rd hacking ban system. Changes: All hacking bans are now permanent.
Hey, I just wanted to know people's opinions on an unban wave particularly for people that have been banned for 5+ years or more (permanently banned and NOT blacklisted). We are making some major changes to parts of our banning system to make it harder for rule breakers to circumvent the rules, and to reduce workload on our staff members.
